Mr A. Azhar is a Consultant in Hand and wrist surgery at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), a major trauma centre where he handles complex cases in Hand and Wrist surgery alongside other specialities.
Throughout his career, he has cultivated a strong passion for teaching and research, contributing significantly to the academic and clinical development of future orthopaedic surgeons.
Mr. Azhar serves as a Speaker, Mentor, and Faculty member for the British Orthopaedics Association's FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) Clinical Examination Course, where he plays a crucial role in preparing candidates for the rigorous FRCS examination. His commitment to education extends further as a Course Faculty member for the Postgraduate Orthopaedics FRCS (Tr & Orth) Revision course at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, affiliated with Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne.
In addition to his roles at these prestigious institutions, Mr Azhar is also a Faculty member for the Chesterfield, Sheffield, and Derby FRCS Clinical Examination Course, a program that offers high-quality clinical examination teaching to senior orthopaedic trainees. His expertise is further recognised through his contribution as an author of a chapter in the “Orthopaedic Examination Techniques” book, a key resource for FRCS (Trauma & Orth) exam preparation.

Miss Blakey is an Orthopaedic Consultant at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. She trained in Edinburgh and London before beginning her higher surgical training in Sheffield. Having completed fellowships in Melbourne, at both the Royal Children's Hospital, and with John O'Donnell at Hip Arthroscopy Australia, she returned to Sheffield for a further six months of training in hip preservation surgery. She joined as a consultant in 2019. Miss Blakey's practice includes management of the paediatric and young adult hip, including periacetabular surgery, safe surgical dislocation and hip arthroscopy. Her adult practice is in the Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals NHS trust.

Jeevan is the lead convenor for the Chesterfield & Sheffield FRCS Clinical Examination Course and creator of Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals. He is an honorary lecturer for Sheffield Medical School and plays an active role in teaching to medical students, junior doctors and registrars. He is faculty for Postgraduate Orthopaedics and BOSTAA FRCS revision course and has authored in educational resources including Postgraduate Orthopaedics:Viva Guide to the FRCS and Examination Techniques: A Practical Guide.
