Mr. Pranai Buddhdev is an internationally fellowship-trained and recognised specialist in paediatric orthopaedic surgery and young adult hip preservation working at Mid & South Essex NHS Trust. He’s on the Executive board of the Hip Hope Network, an international organisation promoting paediatric hip health worldwide and on the education committee for BSCOS.

JM is a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People and MTC consultant at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with a specialist interest in paediatric and adult limb reconstruction. He completed his orthopaedic training in Leeds, Yorkshire, before his fellowship at the British Columbia Children's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. He is a member of the British Limb Reconstruction Society (BLRS) and British Society for Children Orthopaedic Surgery (BSCOS).

Neil Segaren is a paediatric, adolescent and young adult hip surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore). He completed his higher surgical training on the Percivall Pott rotation winning a number of national and regional prizes on the way. During his triple fellowship training (Sick Kids Toronto, Great Ormond Street and the Royal London) he developed a passion for navigation in pelvic surgery and low dose paediatric imaging. As an experienced surgical educator he was recently appointed as the paediatric and young adult hip fellowship director at the RNOH.
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Manchester Childrens Hospital
Ishani completed her Orthopaedic training in India and thereafter continued to train as a fellow in Paediatric Orthopaedics in Mumbai, Seoul, Sheffield, Leeds and Alderhey. She developed a special interest in trauma and limb reconstruction during this time. Following a year as a locum consultant at Oxford, she was awarded the FRCS ad eundem by the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
She has been a locum consultant at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital since 2019 perusing her special interests alongside general Paediatric Orthopaedic practise, research and training junior doctors. She has visited centres of excellence in Cincinnati, Toulouse, Vienna and enjoys learning about different practices, sharing ideas and understanding different health care systems.

Laura Tillotson is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.
She trained in the Peninsula Deanery, and completed her fellowships at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, and Sick Kids in Toronto, prior to taking up her current post in 2020.
She enjoys the breadth of paediatric orthopaedics, but has a particular interest in hip dysplasia. She also manages adult trauma patients.
Laura is passionate about training and education, and encouraging diversity within orthopaedics.
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mid & South Essex NHS Trust
Miss Kakra Wartemberg is a paediatric orthopaedic consultant surgeon working in Broomfield and Southend hospital (Mid and South Essex NHS trust). She completed her medical degree in Barts and the London medical school and her higher surgical training in Yorkshire.
She underwent her fellowship in University Hospital Southampton where she developed her passion for paediatric hips, feet and neuromuscular conditions.
She loves to teach and support juniors in exam and interview preparation.
Outside of work, she enjoys baking and cake decorating to a high level. She is always happy to create orthopaedic themed cakes for the enjoyment of all!
