Christopher Gee is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at NHS Golden Jubilee, where he holds the position of Associate Medical Director for National Elective Services. Mr Gee has significantly contributed to the medical literature, authoring chapters and textbooks within the acclaimed "Unofficial Guide to Medicine" series. As the Education Lead for the West of Scotland Orthopaedics Rotation, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of orthopaedic education. Additionally, his involvement with the Faculty of Surgical Trainers underscores his commitment to advancing surgical training standards.
Mr. Gee's clinical expertise is broad, with a focus on the innovative fields of Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, robotics as well as Soft Tissue Knee Surgery. His passion for education extends beyond traditional settings; he has delivered webinars to a global audience, particularly during the pandemic, demonstrating his adaptability and commitment to continuous learning. Further illustrating his dedication to the advancement of orthopaedic surgery, Mr. Gee orchestrates a biannual course on robotic orthopaedic surgery, drawing on his extensive knowledge and experience to educate and inspire professionals in this cutting-edge area of medicine.
Emma is an industry professional with 25 years of experience in medical devices in both start-up and international companies, based in UK, US and most recently in Sweden.
Her career has been focused on the development and commercialization of devices in wound care, reconstructive surgery and orthopedics with a specific interest in products that actively promote tissue repair.
In the last 10 years Emma has led clinical, medical and health economic teams with responsibility for clinical evidence generation, professional education, medical affairs and health economics.
