Share your good news
Shout it from the rooftops! Whether you’ve just completed your first marathon, finished a bike challege or smashed your bake sale, we hope you feel an enormous sense of pride and achievement. Now it’s time to let everyone know. Not just those people who have already made a donation but through all your personal networks.
Thanking your supporters
Thank you! These two simple words can mean so much to people and help make them feel valued. We also want to say a big thank you to you too! As a small charity, we really appreciate your fundraising actitives and the vital funds you raise.
We also know that fundraising is never an individual task. It’s friends, family, colleagues, your wider social network and maybe even complete strangers, who have supported you along the way. We know that you will want to thank them too.
Call them up
A quick phone call to say thank you can add a really nice personal touch and will make your supporters feel really valued.
Post a thank you video
There may be plenty of people who have supported your fundraising that you don’t know that well / at all. A quick thank you video that you can post on your fundraising page could be a really nice touch to let them know how much their support means to you.
Did you know!
You might be surprised how many donations come in after your event day. News of your success is likely to inspire people to donate if they haven’t done so already, and you might even find that people who have made a previous donation feel inclined to donate again.
So, post about your event on social media one last time. Send that last email to your work colleagues telling them what you’ve managed to achieve and include pictures too.
