Join this two-day interactive meeting to hear from experts in their respective fields as they explore a wide range of topics on general surgical emergencies. Gain the know-how and the decision-making skills necessary for the successful management of common and not-so-common surgical conditions that would present to the general surgeon covering the emergency take. The forum will provide collaborative and quality sessions such as interactive symposia, panel discussions, didactic lectures, debates and plenary sessions. This meeting will provide lectures and hands-on training for the majority of the soft tissue knee injuries, with cadaveric specimens. A strong faculty consisting of expert surgeons working in RJAH Knee firm will stimulate discussion and teach the delegates in an anatomy lab environment.

Hands-on training course, teaching the strategies and skills needed to manage severely injured patients with life-threatening musculoskeletal injuries, often in challenging and time-critical circumstances.

This course is an intensive two day hands on practical cadaveric workshop for surgeons, military or civilians who are relatively inexperienced in trauma but may be required to perform surgery on patients suffering traumatic injuries under pressure in a trauma and emergency environment.

This flagship 6-day course covers all the topics required for the basic science examination. It is for orthopaedic trainees who are seeking a strong foundation in basic orthopaedic sciences and for those trainees who will be preparing for the FRCS (Tr & Orth) examinations. Faculty are from Oswestry and other nationally-recognised orthopaedic centres and delegates attend from all over the world.

Fracture Fixation practical workshops and discussion groups. This is a 2-day accredited hand fixation workshop in combination with Medartis aimed at plastic and orthopaedic consultants and trainees who deal with hand fractures.

This course will help to develop a deeper understanding and higher knowledge about upper limb pathologies, how common trauma occurs and elective upper limb problems. It will provide an interesting opportunity to update developments in practice and guidelines in relation to the field of common upper limb injuries and common pathologies in upper limb (osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis).
