Day One Trauma Support is a national charity supporting anyone affected by major trauma. We provide practical, emotional and financial support to patients and their families alongside NHS clinical care to help rebuild their lives. Across the UK through our caseworkers in NHS settings and our national support offer, we provide:

• Emotional Support - a listening ear and a hand to hold
• Peer Support - talk to someone with lived experience
• Small grants for immediate costs and ongoing recovery
• Benefits and welfare support to ensure people get the help they deserve
• Legal support when people need someone in their corner
• Free counselling for patients and loved ones
