The British Orthopaedic Trainees Association (BOTA) represents Trauma & Orthopaedic NTN Specialty Registrars, and works with Core Trainees and Medical Students interested in T&O. BOTA are affiliated to the British Orthopaedic Association. Since its foundation, the membership has increased from the founding 45 to the current level of in the order of over 1000 Specialist Registrars, in addition to medical students, Foundation Doctors and Core Trainees and recently appointed consultants.
The BOTA committee are elected by the membership at the yearly AGM.
